1974

The Queally Group owned by brothers Peter & John Queally, began operating in Ireland in 1974.

1993-1995

Our chefs began making small batches of natural stock in 1993 serving the UK and French marketplace. It was a great success and Simply Soups was established in Naas, Co. Kildare in 1995. Utilising technology and traditional cooking methods Simply Soups created fabulous bone broths and stocks that were unique to the marketplace.

1996

Pasta Concepts was established also on the Naas site, with a focus on creating excellence in fresh and frozen filled and unfilled pasta products servicing the foodservice and manufacturing industry sectors.

2013

The Culinary Food Group was created as a platform which facilitated the harmonization of these business units together. A centralised innovation centre was created, and the sales, marketing & technical functions combined to provide an excellent service centre for our customers.

2014

The Sauce Room was launched to create culinary sauces, glazes and marinade using the finest ingredients including our own natural stocks.

2014

Simply and Pasta Concepts got a refresh on their logos & Simply Soups became Simply!

2015

Our Ready to Cook Meal Solutions business was set up. In 2018 this facility was recommissioned with €2 million investment to create ready-to-eat ingredients.

2019

The Culinary Food Group rationalised and amalgamated the businesses and today trade as one Group with four manufacturing plants, all based in Naas.
