The Culinary Food Group team had a very busy two days at the Casual Dining Show at ExCel, London on 27th and 28th February. The show was a great success and we met a lot of great people from across the casual dining sector – customers and new connections.
The Casual Dining Show
The Casual Dining Show is the only trade show in the UK entirely focused on the casual dining sector. The event had over 220 exhibitors with a great turnout of visitors. For anyone in the restaurant, hotel or pub sector it’s a great event to attend. We saw some great products and innovation across the show with a huge presence of vegan products, free-from options, sustainability and some very interesting flavour combinations! Shows like this really get the team thinking about our own innovation as a food manufacturer and inspire us on our return to the Culinary Food Group kitchens!
Prep’d Natural Stock Paste
We were also excited to launch our new stock brand Prep’d – a range of ambient natural stock pastes available in chicken, beef, lamb, pork and mushroom. Perfect for use in pies, stews, casseroles, sauces, soups, ready meals and meat brines. They have a natural stock base, are easy to use and are also gluten free. We also have vegan options available. Sampling Our Delicious Culinary Products
Chef Luke was busy preparing and cooking up some delicious samples so visitors could get a taste of some of our great products. We sampled some tasty Slow Cooked Stock Brined Pork Belly with Espresso BBQ sauce, 5 Spice Duck Broth, Mushroom Mezzaluna with Umami Tomato Sauce, and Hollandaise Sauce served with Asparagus Tips.
